Morton Fine Furniture is dedicated to designing and building fine, heirloom-quality furniture to be handed down through generations. Our designs reflect a simplicity and timelessness in a form that emphasizes the natural beauty of the solid cherry, walnut, maple, and other hardwoods used in their construction. Our furniture is heavily influenced by the Pennsylvania German furniture makers who originally settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and work ethic are reflected in every piece of furniture we deliver. Additional design influences come from the early 20th century Arts and Crafts Movement of Gustav Stickley, Harvey Ellis, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
Carefully milled solid woods are reborn in the hands of our skilled furniture makers. Natural oils are hand-rubbed into the wood’s distinctive color and grain and a fine wax coating provides the finishing touch. Today, our dining tables and chairs, corner cupboards, sideboards, beds, chests of drawers, and quilt chests emulate the quiet elegance and craft of master German woodworkers, not as reproductions, but as inspirations.
